Peroxide Petri

another note. I use a little peroxide in some of my agar plates. it kills off mold spores and you have much less chance of comtam. The mycelium does grow a little slower. but it is very healthy. as it kills all spores, you cannot use mushroom spores on it. but works great for cloning and transfers. Especially master plates that you want to keep for a long time

i add 3ml per 500ml agar mix but you must mix it on only after it has cooled down and just before you fill your plates and it must be the 3% peroxide logic said if it's 6% then use 1.5ml per 500ml
